Website Audit & Strategy Roadmap
Not sure if your site needs a tune-up or a rebuild? I review your existing site and deliver a clear, prioritised roadmap — in plain English, with no upsell pressure. Flat CA$497.
The honest second opinion
This is the entry point for small business owners across the GTA who already have a website but don't know what to do with it. Maybe it's slow. Maybe nobody's finding it. Maybe a previous developer disappeared and you don't even know what platform it's on.
The audit gives you a straightforward picture of where your site stands, what's costing you traffic or conversions, and what to fix first. You can then take that roadmap to me, to another developer, or do parts of it yourself. No lock-in.
I built this offering because most small business owners in Newmarket, Aurora, and across the broader GTA have been burned at least once by someone who quoted a rebuild before understanding the actual problem. The audit fixes that. You spend CA$497, you walk away with clarity, and you decide what's next.
A full walk-through of your site
The audit looks at the parts of your website that actually move the needle for a small business.
Performance and Core Web Vitals
Real-world Lighthouse scores, the slowest pages, what is making them slow, and what fixes are worth doing.
On-page SEO
Titles, meta descriptions, headings, schema markup, internal linking, and how well your pages match what people are actually searching for in your area.
Local SEO signals
Google Business Profile, NAP consistency, local landing pages, and whether you show up when someone searches your service plus your city.
Conversion and UX
Where visitors get lost, what your contact form is missing, and whether your calls to action say something a real person would click.
Accessibility
A WCAG 2.1 AA pass on the main pages — colour contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text, form labels. Not perfection, just no obvious blockers.
Tech stack and maintenance risk
What your site is actually built on, what it costs you per month, and how risky it is to keep running. Outdated WordPress with 30 plugins is a different conversation than a clean static site.
Three deliverables, one week
The audit takes about a week from kickoff to delivery. You get something useful at the end of it — not a 60-page PDF nobody reads.
Written report
A focused 6–10 page document covering findings, severity, and what to do about each one. Plain language. No filler.
Prioritised roadmap
A short, ordered list of fixes — the high-leverage stuff first, the nice-to-haves last. Each item is tagged DIY-friendly, needs-a-developer, or strategic.
45-minute walkthrough
A live call where I walk you through the report, answer questions, and help you decide what to tackle yourself versus hire out.
CA$497 flat — no surprises
One fee, one deliverable, one call. If we end up working together afterwards, I credit the CA$497 toward the engagement.
The audit is intentionally priced so it's an easy yes for any small business. You either walk away with a roadmap you can hand to anyone, or you decide to keep working with me — in which case the CA$497 is credited toward your web design or web development project.
If you already know you need a full rebuild, you can skip the audit and book a free quote call instead.
